The Öresundsbron bridge (tunnel section) | Print |  E-mail
The fixed link between Skåne and Zealand measures almost 16 km in total, and comprises a bridge section, an artificial island and a tunnel.

Öresundsbron The tunnel section, which extends 4 km from the artificial island to the Danish mainland, has a comprehensive supply air ventilation system. Our long experience and expertise in the manufacture and design of duct heaters was an important factor in our being selected as a supplier to the project. The pillars, which can be seen from far away, are the tallest structures in Sweden, measuring 204 metres. The entire link is a combined road and rail link between two expanding regions. The bridge was opened to the general public in the summer of 2000.
