VEAB is working to reduce the company’s impact on the environment, and has therefore introduced an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001. The environmental management system was certified in 2000. VEAB will strive to develop, manufacture and market products and services that have the least possible impact on the environment. VEAB will also work to prevent pollution and continuously improve the company’s environmental situation. VEAB will:

• Comply with applicable environmental laws and other official demands regarding the environment.
• Design the environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and encompass all employees at the company.
• Make continuous environmental improvements and work to prevent pollution becoming a natural part of our work.
• Maintain a sufficiently high level of knowledge among our employees that environmental aspects are taken into consideration when working.
• View environmental improvements as long-term investments for the company, our employees and society in general.
• Use energy and raw materials sparingly.
• Distribute information concerning the environment to authorities, employees and the general public in an open and objective way.
• Support and participate in the development of the ecocycle principle.
